THE PAULINE YEAR - PLENARY INDULGENCE

Archbishop Favalora has decreed that within the Archdiocese of Miami, the Christian faithful having fulfilled the required conditions (sacramental Confession, Holy Communion, prayers for the intentions of the Holy Father) and in a spirit of total detachment from any inclination to sin, may benefit from the Plenary Indulgence if they devoutly take part in a sacred function or in a pious public exercise in honor of Saint Paul the Apostle; as well as on the days of the solemn opening (June 28, 2008) and closure (June 29, 2009) of the Pauline Year in all the sacred places and additionally on:
- January 25, 2009 in each parish, shrine and mission of the Archdiocese in celebration of the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul.
- Throughout the Pauline year, daily upon pilgrimage to Saints Peter and Paul Church (Miami) and the Cathedral of Saint Mary.
